Army chief, Libyan deputy army chief talk cooperation in training

Amman, April 12 (Petra) – Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti on Sunday received Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces at the General Command Headquarters.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in training and the exchange of military expertise to boost readiness and address growing regional security challenges.
Huneiti said that the Jordanian Armed Forces is committed to strengthening strategic defence partnerships with the Libyan Armed Forces to support regional security and stability and keep pace with evolving threats.
For his part, Haftar praised the advanced capabilities of the Jordanian Armed Forces, highlighting the strong cooperation between the two countries and underscoring the importance of expanding joint military coordination in the coming period.
